Ok if you remember a few weeks ago I said I was on my Common shit. This was one of my favorite songs out of all his albums so I'm posting it today. I meant to post a few weeks ago but kept forgetting to. This track is from his 3rd album, One Day it Will All Make Sense. It features Canibus. Basically it's one of those no holds barred type of tracks where both rappers just drop hot line after line.
Common - Making a Name For Ourselves (feat. Canibus)
Here is Big Boi's new video for his upcoming album, Sir Luscious Leftfoot which is coming out March 23rd. I really hope it doesn't get pushed back because it's been in the works since 2007. Looks as though, Jive still aint playin fair. Anyhow as far as Outkast goes we still have Andre 3000's solo album to look forward to as well as their new group album. Let's hope we get all of this Kast stuff this year and not next.
Big Boi - Fo Yo Sorrows (f. Too $hort & George Clinton)
Bobby Ray's new video for Nothing On You is finally here! Really dope video, one of the best I have seen in a minute. B.o.B's new album drops April 27th. Be sure to go cop that, I will guarantee it will be dope. The Adventures Of Bobby Ray.
Philly Freezer on his grind this year! Dude has dropped numerous mixtapes the past few months plus an insane album. This time around he linked up with Jakk Frost for a new tape for the masses. Both seem to do their thing on this aswell. Enjoy!
EDIT: Tagged the whole thing properly, so its iPod ready. Megaupload Link added.
Here's another Behind-The-Scenes look at Bank$ and Juelz smash hit single, Beamer, Benz Or Bentley. You can check the other BTS look at this aswell that I posted on Starchasers. Click Here. And be on the look out for our new Banks mixtape coming soon.
This week's music video is from the Ali Original Soundtrack. It was originally also going to be on R. Kelly's Loveland album but he scrapped it when it got leaked early on the net. It did however appear on the Second Disc of Chocolate Factory, for the very few who got the special edition. This is probably my second favorite R. Kelly track of all time. My first would be "I Believe I Can Fly." He recently dropped his 9th album, Untitled. It didn't disappoint. Check it out when you have the time.
Here is Bobby Creekwater's latest video off his Back 2 The Breifcase (The B-Side) mixtape. If you haven't checked it out you can here. This song leaked early this year and I really was feeling it. It's also on the R.I.P. Shady Records mixtape that's coming soon.
In honor of the late great Notorious' passing here are two dope mixtapes I discovered last year for the first time. As always they're in the best quality available. DJ Noodles did a great job mixing Akon and Notrious B.I.G. It's very cool to hear what he would sound like rapping over today's dopest beats.
Finally, been waitin on this for a minute. T.I. go's in on this ish, got high hopes for his new album. I loved Paper Trail.. So i'm sure i'll love his new one. He probably had a lot of time to write some good lyrics in jail the past year. Lets hope Weezy F. does the same lol. Enjoy!
"I do this in my sleep, oh yeah, I gets deep" - Elzhi. He wasn't lying. Elzhi spazzes on this insane Black Milk beat. The video is nice, fits well with the song. It was featured on The Leftovers Unmixedtape which was released in 2009.
Here is the first music video off Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek's new album, Revolutions Per Minute. There was a snippet of this song off that Re:Union mixtape that dropped at the end of last year. I'm really looking foward to this album, I think it has potential to live up to the first.
This week's single is a new hot track from Game and Ja Rule. They have some of the hottest collabos together. Game's got R.E.D. Album coming out later this year and Ja has Venni Vetti Vecci 2010 coming. I'll definitely be peeping both of them. Also stay tuned for the 3rd installment of our mixztape series, The R.E.D. Files.
New Royce, fresh from Twitter. Ripping Drakes new single, Over. Be on the look out for Bar Exam 3 sometime soon (I hope). And also my new mixtape i'm working on. Will get a release date as soon as I get the tape done. Incredible? Umm, Yes. Enjoy!
Finally the video we've all been waiting for is out. It actually came a few days early too which is always good (at least for the fans). I'll admit to me stating numerous times, that Eminem should never work with someone as overrated as Wayne. But after hearing this song for the first time I knew I was wrong. This is hands down the best record on Rebirth and also one of Eminem's best features too. Without a doubt Eminem's verse on this is better than his on "Forever." Shoutout to TRShady and LilWayneHQ.
Lil Wayne - Drop the World (feat. Eminem)
P.S. Watch this video while you can cause I'm sure they're working on getting it taken down.
Here is a new video Juicy J dropped from his mixtape Cutthroat which came out at the end of last year. This was one of my favorite songs off the tape cause it features my favorite rapper from HCP, Lil Wyte. While his last album was a bit disappointing to me, I'm still looking foward to his new one whenever he gets around to putting it out. I'm not getting my hopes up for it to come this year though. You can download this mixtape and watch some of the other videos that I haven't posted here on Juicy J's site.
